Wentworth Miller to star in ‘Spartacus: Blood And Sand’
Prison Break star Wentworth Miller is in talks to star in Spartacus: Blood And Sand replacing Andy Whitfield who’s left the show after being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
Wentworth Miller has expressed interest in playing the part of Spartacus, according to reports.
Spartacus: Blood And Sand producers are currently looking for a male lead in mid 30s with an authentic British accent who can sign a three-year contract with the studio.
If Wentworth does take over the lead role, I’m sure he’ll look great as Spartacus (though I really liked Andy as Spartacus, he was brilliant).
As I told you last month, The Starz’s Spartacus: Blood And Sand filming has been put on hold with certain plans for the show to return for season 2 if the right actor is found.

As much as I like Spartacus and Wentworth I don’t think they should do a season 2 without Andy Whitfield
