Tom Sturridge is On The Road with Kristen Stewart

While there’s still some time before shooting Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Kristen Stewart is busy with her new project, Jack Kerouac’s One The Road.

After dyeing her hair red and chopping it a little bit, Kristen is now in Montreal, Canada, filming her scenes for On The Road with her new co-star British actor Tom Sturridge
.
Tom Sturridge is 24, he’s a cutie and he’s a good friend of Kristen Stewart’s onscreen\offscreen love interest, Robert Pattinson. Tom is known for his works in such movies as Vanity Fair, Being Julia, Like Minds and The Boat That Rocked.

On The Road is based on Jack Kerouac’s novel of the same name that was published in 1957. Walter Salles helms the new film adaptation with Kristen Stewart playing Mary Lou, Sam Riley starring as Sal Paradise, Garrett Hedlund as Dean Moriarty, Kirsten Dunst as Camille. Tom Sturridge’s character is yet to be unveiled.

On The Road is a largely autobiographical work that was based on the spontaneous road trips of Kerouac and his friends across the 1950s America. When the book was originally released, The New York Times hailed it as “the most beautifully executed, the clearest and most important utterance” of Kerouac’s generation, according to Wiki.

On The Road filming started on August 2, 2010, and the film is set for release next year.
