Teaser trailer for Brittany Murphy’s last film

As Brittany Murphy’s body was laid to rest yesterday, I would like to pay my own tribute to the late actress as I consider her very talented and adorable (especially In Just Married that I watched like five times when it was released in 2003).

Teaser trailer and box art for one of her last movies, Deadline, has been released the other day.
The box art is reported to be removed from displays out of respect for the actress and in order not to turn off the viewers. The picture shows Brittany sinking in bath and looking lifeless. Some versions of the poster even include blood. In the light of the latest events, the poster looks terrifying.

In Deadline Brittany plays Alice, a screenwriter who travels to an abandoned house to finish a script on time. However, but a series of strange events lead her to a psychological breakdown.

FYI, as of time of Brittany’s death on December 20, 2009 she had some five films in production. Deadline is just one of the few she’ll be remembered by.
