SATC 2 hits Big Apple

Whether you like it or not, but Carrie Bradshaw and her girlfriends are back in Big Apple!

I’ve always been against sequels as they completely ruin the movie, but Sex And The City 2 will be released in May 2010 anyway.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattral and Kristin Davis will get back on screen to reprise their characters Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte for the movie.

Little is know about the story line but the rumor has it, Carrie will leave her husband Mr. Big (Chris Noth) after he loses his money because of global financial crisis and then find out she’s pregnant with his baby.

As to other characters, man-eater Samantha will get a new young foreign lover and will be “more fun than you can ever imagine.” Samantha’s lover will be played by Croatian male model Filip Kleva.

Earlier it was reported Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes desperately wanted to be a part of the upcoming sequel.

SATC 2 started filming in New York yesterday morning with SJP looking all fresh and beautiful filming her scenes in top notch designer clothes.

I’m still undecided if I’ll watch the sequel or not, but I’ll definitely cover the filming on the blog. Stay tuned to learn more!
