Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel and Anna Paquin in ‘The Romantics’ – Trailer

The Romantics starring Katie Holmes, True Blood star Anna Paquin, Transformers hottie Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman, Adam Brody and Elijah Wood has debuted the first trailer.

The movie that’s based on the bestselling novel by Galt Niederhoffer is hailed to be Katie Holmes’ “finest work” in her career and “a Zeitgeist love story and generational comedy.”

Well, I can’t say I’m utterly excited by the trailer, maybe because I’m not a big Katie Holmes fan. The Romantics is about seven close friends who all come together to celebrate the wedding of two of them. The problem is that the bride (Paquin) and the maid of honor (Holmes) both love the same man, the groom played by Josh Duhamel. Just night before the wedding he has to decide who of them two is dearer to his heart.
