Jolie and Pitt are Mr. and Mrs. Smith again?

According to reports, Brad Pitt has asked his good friend and Mr. And Mrs. Smith screenwriter Simon Kinberg, to pen sequel to the 2005’s movie.

National Enquirer reports this way the power couple are hoping to “re-spark the magnetism that captivated them five years ago.”

The stress of raising six kids and juggling two red-hot careers is wearing them down,” the source reported. “[Brad is] hoping they’ll fall in love all over again… to get their relationship back on track and refocus on loving each other.”

Does it mean there are problems in the Jolie-Pitt paradise?

If the sequel does see the light it will include the kids of John and Jane Smith as a part of the story line. Bringing life to the big screen? Looks so.

If Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt do feel their relationship on the rocks [though we hear this gossip every week, anyway] then their desire to start all over again may reasonably be connected with the movie as it’s where it all started back in 2005.

I’m pretty suspicious of sequels and never consider them a good idea for a good movie, but if they manage to make Mr. And Mrs. Smith 2 as dynamic, sexy and blockbusting as the first part then I’ll surely watch it.

Mr. And Mrs. Smith was released on June 10, 2005 and grossed approximately $468.3 million worldwide.
