Gossip Girl says good-bye to Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr

Kind of shocking news for all big fans of Gossip Girl – GG’s regulars Taylor Momsen (Jenny) and Jessica Szohr (Vanessa) are leaving the show and will not return for season five this coming fall.

TVLine was the first to break the news saying that though the two actresses were no longer the show’s regulars they would return as guest stars.

I don’t know what Jessica Szohr thinks about this new change in her career, but as to Taylor Momsen, I’m sure she’s less than a tad bit upset. She had very little screen time last season and often said in her interviews that she was planning to focus on her music career, the band The Pretty Reckless, rather than her career as an actress. Besides, the producers never really approved of her overall “I don’t give a f***” attitude.

I used to be a huge fan of Gossip Girl but it’s not so anymore. Now as Taylor and Jessica are leaving, the show seems even more boring to me.
