Full-length trailer of ‘Beastly’

Modern take on Beauty and The Beast, Beastly, had its first full-length trailer debuted on MTV Hollywood Crush yesterday.

The teaser shows the main movie stars and gives a look at what the movie will be about when it comes out on July 30, 2010.

The new teaser is presented by Vanessa Hudgens who stars in the movie alongside Alex Pattyfer, Mary-Kate Olsen and Neil Patrick Harris.

[Beastly] takes the skeleton of Beauty and the Beast, and we fill in the muscles of our own,” she revealed. “We took bits and pieces of the original, like the transformation; you have to find someone who loves you to break the spell. But we twisted it a little bit and made it a bit darker and threw in a few oddities that weren’t in the original.”

In the new movie Alex’s Kyle is cursed by the witch and turns into a monster. He’s got a year to find somebody to love him to break the spell. He meets Lindy (Hudgens) and falls in love with her. He has to win her heart before he runs out of time.
