From Around The Web: Jennifer Lopez To Produce TV Drama About Lesbian Couple

Jennifer Lopez has signed up to be an executive producer on a new television drama by ABC Family, a project which so far remains untitled. She is developing the hour-long show with Nuyorican Productions and the programme is to be based around a same-sex relationship with a female couple.

Shown on the network whose audience is largely younger females, the lesbian pair – who already have several children – bring a teenager into their home. Lopez herself has played a lesbian, who develops a liking for men in the 2003 flop movie Gigli. She starred in the film with her real-life partner Ben Affleck but critical reception was extremely poor. Jennifer’s producing partners on this project include Simon Fields and Greg Gugliotta who have worked on the TV movie Beautiful Girls.

Jennifer has also been promoting her dance show with Anthony, called Q’Viva: The Chosen. It is not clear whether J-Lo’s additional work will mean she is definitely not returning to her judging spot on American Idol. The star sparked concern she would be leaving her post on the talent show as she announced touring plans.

Wonder who’s taking care of her twins … Sad to think that motherhood isn’t on the list of this “multi-talented” woman. At least the person who did her hair is talented … That mass of hair extensions must have taken hours.
