Freida Pinto – new Bond girl
Once a globally unknown Indian model, now one of the most demanded actresses in Tinseltown, Freida Pinto, 24, must be more than excited about the success of her debut Slumdog Millionaire and the buzz it produced. She’s number one pick on almost every director’s list these days!
Last month it was reported Freida became Woody Allen’s new muse replacing Scarlett Johansson, and also signed to star in his new movie.
The latest news is that Pinto’s probably going to become the next Bond girl and star alongside Daniel Craig in the Bond movie.
It’s not Freda’s first attempt to get a part in the Bond sequel. She auditioned for Quantum of Solace but that time the producers thought her to be too young to play Bond’s love interest.
She was too young at the time to have a part as a love interest for a secret agent. But she has blossomed into an incredibly stunning young woman and would look perfect on Daniel Craig’s arm. [Slumdog Millionaire director] Danny Boyle is favorite to take the helm of the next movie, which would increase Freida’s chances of a starring role,” a source revealed.
I do hope she gets the part.
