First Lady Michelle Obama to make a cameo appearance on ‘iCarly’

Don’t miss iCarly in January next year as First Lady Michelle Obama is said to make a cameo appearance in one of the episodes that month.

This will be the first time Ms Obama appears on a TV show, and she’s going to guest star for a good cause. According to Nickelodeon, Michelle Obama will appear to promote Joining Forces, an initiative to increase awareness and support for military families.

In the episode, two of Carly’s friends arrange a web chat so Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) can talk to her dad on his birthday. As her father is serving overseas they have to break some rules to help the girl. So, Michelle Obama finds out about the situation and “comes to have a chat with them in the most positive way possible,” Nickelodeon’s president Cyma Zarghami said in his statement yesterday.
