Emma Watson teams with Logan Lerman for movie
Once famously stating that she was planning to quit acting after the Harry Potter franchise, Brown student Emma Watson is said to have joined the cast of The Perks of Being a Wallflower teaming up with young Percy Jackson star Logan Lerman for the movie adaptation of the novel.
No word what part she’s set to play, but wondering if Logan will play Charlie, the wallflower from Stephen Chbosky’s book.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower was published in 1999 by MTV and centers on the letters written by the shy and unpopular guy Charlie. The guy writes to an anonymous person, whom he does not know personally. In his letters he writes about introversion, teenage sexuality, drug use, and the awkward times of adolescence.
The film is based on the screenplay by Stephen Chbosky that he’s been working on since 2005.
The new movie will become Emma’s third movie apart from the Harry Potter franchise.

I wish them luck. Even though Emma isn’t suitable for the role ‘Sam’. But I totally fortify her for taking a risk with this adult role.

I’m happy for both of them and how they’re working up on their career I just think that this book/movie isn’t one that I could see them acting in. It has some adult content in it and I don’t think they’ve ever acted in movies like this. I personally think that if I watch this movie I’ll think of them differently expessially Logan.
