Brad Pitt is an Inglorious Basterd

Don’t think I don’t know how to spell the word. I misspelled “basterd” cause that’s what Tarantino called his latest film!

Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Mike Myers, Samuel L. Jackson, Simon Pegg star in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds that will be released August 21, 2009.

Pitt stars as the principal Basterd and “most Inglorious of all Basterds,” Lt. Aldo Raine.

Tarantino calls his movie “one hundred percent Quentin Tarantino Nazi-scalping business” as it deals with a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as “The Basterds” who are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis.

The second story line is about a girl who flees to Paris and has a chance to revenge on the Nazi who killed her family.

The just-been-released trailer promises a lot of action. Guess it’s hard to do historical films as a lot of people’ll try to find historical inaccuracies in the movie. Wonder what we have to expect from Tarantino’s war flick.
