Angelina Jolie is ready for ‘Salt’ sequel

Last year’s action thriller Salt starring Angelina Jolie as a CIA agent Evelyn Salt is ready for a sequel!

Sony Pictures is working on the movie, Salt’s screenplay writer Kurt Wimmer is penning the story and Jolie is ready to star again if the movie “comes together right.”

From the very beginning it was clear there would definitely be a sequel as the movie ended with a cliffhanger – Evelyn jumps off the helicopter ready to take revenge on those who took everything from her.

Salt was quite successful in the global box office last year with $418 million earned worldwide.

I’m never really enthusiastic about sequels as they usually turn out to be less interesting than the original movies but if the Salt sequel does “comes together right” I’m sure it’ll be worth-seeing. What do you think?
