2011 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards winners
The ceremony of the 17th annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards was held last night at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles to honor best actors in film and television this year.
Just as always, 2011 SAG Awards focuse on both individual performances as well as on the work of the entire ensemble of a drama/ comedy series, and the cast of a motion picture.
To nobody’s surprise, The King’s Speech has become this year’s big winner taking home the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture and Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role awards. Black Swan‘s star Natalie Portman has been named the best actress in a leading role, while The Fighter‘s Christian Bale and Melissa Leo are honored with the best supporting actor/actress awards.
One of my favorite actresses Betty White has taken home the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series award for her fantastic work in Hot In Cleveland.
Congrats Betty White!
