2011 Golden Globes: the Show, the winners
The 68th annual Golden Globes was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills last night, January 16th. Being often dubbed the second Oscar, 2011 Golden Globes has (hopefully) predicted the future winners at 2011 Oscars, that’ll be held in a month.
The Social Network won four most prestigious awards last night including the best motion picture, the best director and the best screenplay kudos.
Colin Firth and Natalie Portman repeated their Critics Choice Awards success winning the best actor and best actress for their parts in The King’s Speech and Black Swan, respectively.
Christian Bale and co-star Melissa Leo won the best supporting actor/actress awards for their roles in The Fighter.
Glee was a big winner in the TV category taking home the best television series award, as well as the best supporting actor and best supporting actress for Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch. Rejoice Gleeks!
