2011 Critics Choice Awards: the show, the winners

The 16th annual Critics’ Choice Awards was held last night at Hollywood Palladium to honor the best movies, actors and crews of the year.

The Social Network won four awards including the most prestigious one in the Best Movie category. Colin Firth was named the best actor for his work in The King’s Speech, while pregnant Natalie Portman nabbed the best actress honor for Black Swan.

Leonardo DiCaprio starring Inception won six awards in the best action movie, best visual effects, best editing, best cinematography, best art direction, and best sound categories.

Rising star Hailee Steinfield was named the best young actress for her work in True Grit (Hailee is the girl Justin Bieber will co-preset an award with at tomorrow’s Golden Globes.)
