2009 MTV Movie Awards winners

It was easy to predict it but it was still wild. Twilight that led the 2009 MTV Movie Awards nominations ended up taking 5 awards at yesterdays’ show.

Twilight was named the best movie and the film’s leading stars, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson took home best female and best breakthrough performance popcorn statues, respectively.

Besides, Robert and Kristen’s kiss in Twilight was honored the Best Kiss award and don’t even try to tell me you didn’t expect them to reenact it on stage!

Zac Efron looked sexy in a suit on the MMV redcarpet and took home the best performance award for his role in High School Musical 3: Senior Year. Congrats, Zac!

Efron’s co-star Ashley Tisdale was awarded Best Breakthrough Performance, the nom she shared with Vanessa Hudgens who didn’t get the popcorn statue at all. Sorry!

Miley Cyrus’ ‘The Climb’ was named the best song from a movie. Not bad for a 16-year old, hah? By the way, I loved her dress, you?

   I’m not sure how I feel about ‘miley cyrus’s’ song The Climb award… the song isn’t even hers!! Someone else wrote it. I’m just glad she didn’t get that award for The Climb for being at the top of the charts!
