World’s largest… Santa

Merry Christmas everyone! You know I love all kinds of ratings, and just wanted to add a new item to the list. A couple of days ago I told you about the world’s most expensive Christmas bauble and tree, and today it’s Santa time!

The world’s largest ice Santa was built in Harbin, a northern Chinese city that holds an annual world-renowned ice festival.

The giant Santa is 525 ft. long and 79 ft. high. Such a big-big- guy!

It is even bigger and higher than last year’s, and more difficult. The weather swings between warm and cold, so it becomes very wet and slippery on the ice. It is very dangerous for us,” one of the sculptures told Reuters.

Giant Santa is a huge attraction as it’s totally magnificent and beautiful.

The festival opens January 5, 2009 and the organizers hope the already-constructed sculptures will last till that time as the weather is very changeable this year.

So if you wanna see the largest Santa ever don’t waste your time, otherwise it can melt before you arrive!
