Twilight tattoos: How far will Twilight mania go?
Twilight fans are definitely the most committed and loyal fans ever.
I can understand that Twilight is like a new generation fairy tale about eternal love, and the story is truly romantic, but wanting to have a piece of Twilight on your body FOREVER or, at least, a pretty while, is somewhat crazy.
Twilight fans go for Twilight tattoos! From Edward’s family chest to phrases, portraits and names – fans never run out of imagination for a new body ink masterpiece.
I’m still not sure what I think about this new trend.
Your thoughts?

Those who get twilight tattoos are idiots. Why you may ask? Because if 4 years from now or more pass and it’s just one bad memory what are u going to do? I get itif you get the logo of a band cause there’s always reunion tours but a movie that will be done in about 2 years. You are screwed. Watch all of you going to get that twilight tattoo removed.

I have only four words for this.
WHAT.
THE.
F’ING.
HELL.
I’m serious; what will you do in ten, twenty years when people come to their senses and realize Twilight is a piece of sh-t? If it’s permant that is. . .
God, people, this is beyond obsession. DON’T WRAP YOUR WHOLE LIVES AROUND A F’ING SH***Y BOOK. ._.

What respectable person would put that SH-T on their bodies? If I ever saw anyone with a twilight tatoo I’d laugh my a– off at them.

I am a huge twilight fan also, but a tattoo is serious. Twenty years from now those people will wonder why they got them so big and on their backs. I would get a cullen crest on my ankle maybe. Small so i could wear on dress and show off my back at prom. Unlike a few of the people shown above. Well i can not stand it new moon comes out in a few days and Eclipse (my favorite book) Also comes out soon!!!!!!!!

I think people should lay off. You’re allowed to get whatever the hell you wanted tattooed on your body. I think no matter what the tattoo is you’ll probably regret it in 20 years, so who cares? i feel like some of the quotes are good though..because those are just words to live by. I don’t have any tattoos and i probably will never get any.

henna drawed tatoos would be the other option

Listen, I can understand why people would want a Twilight Saga tattoo. Only for the soul reason that the quotes are simply amazing. I think that you should worry about yourself and not other people. I don’t hear any rants about people getting tattoo’s on other symbols and quotes, and I highly doubt anyone would pay attention to that fact either. I think Twifans shall always remain because the story is simply amazing and so heart warming. I believe the general population whom do not like Twilighters just do not like how it is so exploited in the media and how it many people just swoon over it. But nobody is complaining to you about the books you like or the shows you like. So that is my input on it, if you don’t like it then hell I don’t really fucking care. That’s all on you. Have a nice day(:

Okay heres the deal, most of you say we are dumb because its lines or parts from a book but what the real purpose of it is its a love story so you are portraying love in a slightly different manner but it fits because you can relate to the love story in the book to some extent its the same as writing a guys name on you or having a trashy looking woman half naked on you to some its stupid and offensive to others its a way to show our appreciation for the author the books and movies and to all out love by the way I am a huge twilight fan and also a huge tattoo lover i will be getting mine in the next few weeks.

why wud you get that quote, the lion and the lamb one? EVERYONE has it! i was amazed to see people actually have twilight tattoos.. i read the books years b4 they became this cult movie obsession, and i am a huge fan but a tattoo is so permenant i think its a bit silly.. however i do like the last one, it may be twilight related but ya wudnt no from reading it, its a nice quote. it is stupid gettin the book covers tattooed on you tho, esp only getting 3 of them (pointless much) but like, to each their (crazy) own i guess.. these are so not the worst ive seen, ppl have tattoos of “edward” aka robert p covered in white powder lookin like hes about to burst into tears/extremely constipated tattoo-ed on them.. thats just freaky.

i’m just laughing at the fact that they think having a twilight tattoo is deep and meaningful, when really the actual literature is a poor attempt to tell a story of obsession and vanity. Ten years from now when they realize how shitty the book is, they’ll have a nice little reminder about how twilight mania made them do stupid shit they cant erase. :)
