Prankster Charlie Kaufman’s new offering overflows with promise: Philip Seymour Hoffman is a theatre director who tries to create a life-size replica of New York inside a warehouse while rehearsing for his new play. Emily Watson and Samantha Morton and Catherine Keener fill out the cast. Expect mind games, verbal fireworks, and inversions of fantasy and reality.”

Kaufman also directed such films as Being John Malkovich, Adaptation and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet.
