R Pattz opens up about his insecurities in VF
And don’t even try to tell me this guy is not cute.
New Moon lead hottie Robert Pattinson covers the December issue of Vanity Fair with a splendid photoshoot inside made by Bruce Weber.
In his interview for the publication, Robert opens up about his life after the Twilight madness began, about romance rumors, mobs of papz and fans, and about his insecurities (YES, he’s got some, too, just like anyone of us!)
Check out some highlights below and get your own Vanity Fair on Nov. 4 in NY and LA and Nov. 10 nationwide.
About life from airport to airport:
I’m trying not to drown. I’m unbearably self-conscious about stuff,” he told VF contributing editor Evgenia Peretz, adding he’s terrified that his “ass crack is showing.”
On fame and Twilight Saga franchise:
[I’m] a cartoon character. I guess I’m not the type of guy cut out to do a franchise. I’m not much of a crowd person.”
On Kristen Stewart (drumroll, please)
She’s influenced how I’ve done all the Twilight stuff. It’s quite nice to have someone who is genuinely indifferent to the whole spectacle of everything,” Rob said adding the rumors about him and Stewart are completely untrue, yet “it doesn’t make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]. I’ve literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it’s like ‘Oh, they were on secret dates!’ It’s like ‘Where? I can’t get out of my hotel room!’?”
FYI, did you guys know why Robert thinks he looks like “an idiot”??? His one leg is longer than the other!
