New Eclipse star is definitely on Team Edward
Newly cast Eclipse actress Jodelle Ferland (Silent Hill) confessed she was more than excited to meet Robert Pattinson on the set of the movie.
Jodelle, 14, also says she’s not allowed to tell the press any specific details about her character in Eclipse, including the name, of course (alas). That’s what she told E! News:
I’m allowed to tell people that I play a vampire who has just been turned. In other words, I’m a newborn vampire. I’m not allowed to say the name of the character.
If these details must be kept under wraps, Ferland freely shares what Twilight Saga lead character is her favorite. She’s on Team Edward, if you’re curious.
I just think if Jacob had been introduced first, then everybody would like him better. It just seems that since Edward was the first one to be with Bella, people want him to stay with her. So, you know, that’s the character that you start to like first! And then Jacob comes into the picture and everybody’s like, ‘Oh, no! Stay with Edward’.
UPDATE: Summit Entertainment announced in their press release that Jodelle will take on the role of Bree.
