Mexican soap operas react to swine flu – no kisses

Health is the priority.

Swine flu epidemic has already affected many spheres of our everyday life and we just have to adjust to the new conditions.

South American sources reveal that Mexican soap opera actors are advised to cut down on kissing scenes on screen. Swine flu is said to be the main reason for the producers’ decision.

Reports claim, kissing scenes are cut away from scripts as actors try to avoid physical contact with each other in order not to get infected with the flu.

Soap operas’ example can become a health-protecting model for other media products, such as reality TV shows.

Hope things won’t get worse in the US, and American actors will still kiss on screen.
