Mackenzie Foy will play Renesmee in ‘Breaking Dawn’!

Child actress and model Mackenzie Foy is “inches away” from landing the role of Renesmee in Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

The 9 year old Mackenzie will play Edward and Bella’s half-vampire daughter with supernatural abilities. Making her big screen debut Foy will definitely look believable as Robert Pattinson/Kristen Stewart’s on-screen child as she looks similar to both actors (IMHO).

According to EW, Breaking Dawn director Bill Condon will use digital effects similar to those used in The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button to age Mackenzie Foy and make her look as if she’s 17 years old (in case you forget, Nessie doesn’t get that old in the book). In the movie Renesmee will grown to the age of 17 in only seven years.

If Mackenzie Foy gets cast (I really hope she does) it’s gonna be a huge start for a young actress who has only made cameo appearances on TV shows like FlashForward and Til Death.

   I don’t understand the need to alter the book so much. In my opinion that is what they did with Eclipse and it was quite disappointing. I didn’t like the tone the movie took. In certain scenes it was hard to believe that Bella couln’t live w/o Edward,it felt like she was playing the two against each other. Now they haven’t even started filming the movie and they are making major changes to the movie. I believe it does a great injustice to the write and to us the fans. I was really hoping the last movies would end on a better note. Apparently I will not get my wish. Almost makes me just want to save myself the let down and skip the last two movies.

   I think Mackenzie Foy is going to be amazing in Breaking Dawn. She is perfect for the role and she is such an amazing actress even though so far she has only been in Flashforward and Til death. She has got a lot ahead of her and this film will just send her on her way!

   I don’t understand why they are making so much changes. Why is Reenesme going to be 17 years??
   In the book, she maybe gets 5 or something. Mackenzie really looks like Kristen and Robert, so that’s at least good. I wanted the last movies to be more alike the books, but when they are making it so different, it might be a little strange… I really hope it’s gonna be good anyway.

   I always wondered how they were going to create Renesme and I really think no matter how they do it, it will be a dissapointed. They can’t make it how I imagined. But that is just me. Also I have no idea why they are making her be 17 that is really annoying. It’s just really annoying that they are even making two movies. I am a HUGE Twilight fan. Loved the books. But they are just doing it for more money and because of Harry Potter. HP needed two parts. Twilght doesn’t.
