Leaked: Radiohead for New Moon soundtrack?

It’s just my guess I share with the Twi-fans from NewMoonMovie.org.

A new Radiohead song, ‘These Are My Twisted Words’ has just been released and nobody knows why.

The guess is that the track joins the New Moon soundtrack list. At least if you listen to the song you’ll definitely feel it can perfectly fit in the movie. It’s a lot instrumental, just like most of Twi-soundtracks.

Having Radiohead on New Moon soundtrack is more than probable, according to New Moon director Chris Weitz:

Fortunately, I’m not at the stage where I have to turn anybody down yet, because everything is still kind of up in the air, but I am surprised at some of the bands that have said they’re interested. It’s kind of great. The criterion will still always be what’s right for the movie at that given moment, but Thom Yorke [from Radiohead] is interested. We might, if we’re very lucky, get Kings of Leon to do something… It’s exciting to be able to have access to this kind of talent,” Weitz said in July.

Still we’ve got two months to wait. New Moon soundtrack will be released on October 13, 2009.

In related news, Paramore won’t be featured on New Moon soundtrack:

It was really fun to be a part of that, and great exposure, but I think Twilight was it for us. We don’t want to seem like we’re trying to get in every single movie they put out. We don’t want to be, like, the vampire house band,” Paramore drummer Zac Farro said in the interview.
