KStew: “I’m no celebrity, I’m an actor”
As the New Moon release date draws closer get ready for tons of all kinds of interviews, quotes, teasers, sneak pics, gossip & scandal from the Twilight Saga: New Moon camp.
It’s all about Kristen Stewart today.
In her interview for BlackBook Magazine, the young star said she didn’t want the fame and public obsession and didn’t wish to be the second Angelina Jolie. All she does want to do is to act and let people see her work. Period.
I don’t want to be a movie star like Angelina Jolie. Nothing about being a celebrity is desirable. I’m an actor. It’s bizarre to me that everybody’s so obsessive.”
Don’t worry Kristen, you’ll get used to it with time.
Stewart, 19, goes on to compare fame to being a vampire and leading a desolate kind of life:
Edward is actually a really good parallel to fame. As a vampire, he has a sad, desolate life-fame is the same.”
Obviously, Kristen doesn’t not want to become an A-lister. Haven’t you noticed that you already are, KStew?
Don’t get me wrong guys, but saying “fame sucks” is kinda hypocritical in this situation. Do you agree?
