Haute Couture takes over Paris
As Paris Fashion Week got all the fashion freaks world wide going crazy there are few designers that have made it so very haute couture that it is off the top. Extreme femininity and a sheer in your heart is a natural reaction to Christian Lacroix works. More of an art, rather than just fashion.
Christian Lacroix
Just as was expected lots of black, gothic lace, bows, pearls, rhinestones and some embroidery. Imagine all of that in the all-glass Pompidou centre. Imagine another thing! Each Lacroix dress takes about 400 hours to make.
Oh, yes, I would wear it!

You’re right…This is more like art. BTW, tell me that those black shoes to go with that green dress are not hotness. These photos are great, it makes me wish I could have been there for fashion week. You seem to really be into this kind of stuff so I have some info that you might be interested in. Toyota’s “If Looks Could Kill” webisodes, you must check them out. I can assure that judging from this blog you will get a kick out of the series and out of Bianca herself.
She plays the role of an aspiring fashion assistant, Bianca Turner (played by Femi Emiola, Wicked Wicked Games), who is a prime example of a woman who’s got it going on. I’m talking the dream job, a man who’s got all the ladies drooling, and the spice to keep it all together when hell hits the fan. I work for Toyota by the way, so you know I’ve got the scoop.
A couple episodes have been available for a while, but you can always catch up. The fourth episode-Family Jewels- was available as of 7/7, so be sure to check that one out as well.
As I stated before I figured this would be something that you would be interested in, so be sure to watch it and hit me up to let me know what you think, or if anyone else has questions or comments about it as well.
Looking forward to the chit chat!
Best,
