Breakthrough Artist Of The Year: Taylor Lautner

Moviefone has compiled their list of 2009’s Breakout Stars of the Year. All Twi-hards and especially Team Jacob can rejoice as New Moon hottie is named the Breakthrough Actor for his acting skills and impressive physical transformation for Twilight Saga: New Moon, the hottest movie of the year.

According to AOL‘s Moviefone.com, Taylor “redefines teenage hunk in his breakout role… There is a reason why Taylor beat out the rest of the notable names on this list for the top spot: sheer box office brawn.”

17 year old Taylor has beat such names as Avatar‘s stars Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington, Star Trek‘s Chris Pine, Twilight‘s Anna Kendrick, and Zach Galifianakis from The Hangover.
