‘Breaking Dawn’ cast evacuated because of tsunami

The whole Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn cast that’s currently filming scenes in Canada, has been evacuated from the Vancouver Island beach area in British Columbia due to the tsunami advisory.

Filming of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn has been delayed,” Summit Entertainment said in the statement. “All cast and crew were evacuated to base camp. Everyone is safe and sound.”

So far no word when the production will resume. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and the rest of the Breaking Dawn cast are filming scenes in Tofino that has a long stretch of open coast so it’s reasonable why the authorities are afraid the tsunami can get there.

Meanwhile, more and more celebrities take to Twitter and Facebook to show support for the earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan where the 8.9-magnitude tremor destroyed villages and killed dozens of people yesterday.

Lindsay Lohan who has also been evacuated from her Venice Beach home, tweeted:

My mommy just woke my sister and I up to this! God [sic] bless those that are in fear.”
