Ugly Betty axes Lilo from the show
Oops, somebody’s lost the job.
Lindsay Lohan is cut from Ugly Betty with her agreed-upon six episodes cut to four. And who’s to blame? Lohan’s people blame America Ferrera. Who would doubt.
According to the source, the real reason for things getting ugly was “power play” between Lindsay Lohan and America Ferrera. Lilo “refused to go on set until America was there – it was a power play.”
“America was mean to Lindsay. Producers give her too much power. Lindsay didn’t do the last two episodes because America didn’t like her and got her kicked off,” Lohan’s pal commented.
Lindsay’s behavior on set was described kinda weird. She “would obsessively cut pictures of herself out of the tabloids like she was creating some sort of scrapbook.”
Now the producers fault Lindsay on many things. “It was a mess. Lindsay would show up every day with an entourage of people. She smoked 24/7, and after she left, they had to repaint her dressing room it was such a mess.”
Lohan’s friend rejoined saying that the actress had to share the room with the other show’s cast and that she only had several people (Samantha Ronson among them, of course) accompanying her on set.
What I like about this catfight is the part with Lindsay wearing no panties during Granny Pants episode rehearsals. Isn’t it none of your business guys if she’s wearing or not wearing underwear? That’s kind of ridiculous and really stupid to list it as one of the reasons to cut somebody from the show, don’t you think? I’m not trying to defend Lohan, though.
Anyways, so what do the reps say?
“America is grateful to have had her on the show and thinks everyone should tune in to see how great the episodes are.”
“Lindsay was scheduled for six episodes and is appearing in four but had a lovely time.”
