Pamela Anderson stars in PETA ad branded as sexist

All animals have the same parts says the new PETA ad campaign starring the oranization’s activist and long time celebrity supporter Pamela Anderson. The new ad that was unveiled yesterday is branded as “sexist” and banned from display outside of Montreal’s Place Jaques-Cartier when it was originally set to be presented.

City officials referred to the ad as “sexist” and going against all principals of gender equality between men and women.

I have to inform you that we, as public officials representing a municipal government can not endorse this image of Ms. Anderson,” was noted in the statement. “It is not so much controversial as it goes against all principles public organizations are fighting for in the everlasting battle of equality between men and women.”

It’s Pamela Anderson’s body painted and marked as if at some butcher’s diagram that has caused such uproar of opinion. I think the body looks great (AKA photoshopped) and the ad is cool and deeply philosophic.

Anderson arrived in Montreal the night before the ceremony and was shocked to find out it was banned.

In a city that is known for its exotic dancing and for being progressive and edgy, how sad that a woman would be banned from using her own body in a political protest,” Pam Anderson said. “In some parts of the world women are forced to cover their whole bodies with burqas – is that next? I didn’t think Canada would be so puritanical.”

PETA’s senior Vice President laughed off the issue saying that “city officials are confusing “sexy” with “sexist”.
