Oprah Winfrey: Bye-bye $1 Trillion!
I’m still counting the zeros.
Oprah Winfrey is sued for astonishing $1 trillion for plagiarizing somebody else’s book.
Damon Lloyd Goffe accuses one of the most powerful women in Hollywood and her production company of plagiarizing his book A Tome of Poetry in Oprah’s Pieces of my Soul.
According to Goffee, in 2008 Winfrey “confessed to seizing original works of authorship” when writing her book.
The lawsuit was filed on July 31, 2009 with Goffe and his legal team seeking staggering amount in damages – $1.2 trillion!
The official court papers explain the amount by the fact that Winfrey sold some 650 million copies of Pieces Of My Soul costing $20 each, which “calculates in 1.2 trillion dollars”
Looks like if Goffe wins Oprah will have to pay the money all on her own as the website, which sold Winfrey’s online work, is no longer available.
Your thoughts, does Winfrey have a chance to win?

Can we have a math check here, please?
650 million books at $20 each equals:
13 billion dollars.
Maybe the idiot Damon Lloyd Goffe meant to sue for 1.2 billion pennies.
