Fake: Chris Brown’s tears at BET Awards were induced by eye drops, not sadness
Chris Brown touched everyone’s heart when paying a tearful tribute to late Michael Jackson at 2010 BET Awards.
Just to remind you, Chris performed some of MJ’s hit songs like ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’, ‘Billie Jean’, and ‘Man In The Mirror.’ By the end of his performance Brown got so emotional that couldn’t hide his tears while performing ‘Man In The Mirror.’
It was ultimately touching.
However, now sources say that those tears he shed were fake and had nothing to do with his emotions. The tears were induced by eye drops he used right before the show.
According to the witness, Chris Brown’s bodyguard gave him the drops. Chris rubbed them into his eyes and started crying. That’s it.
Brown’s rep was quick to deny the rumor saying it was “completely untrue.”
