It’s The X Files-worthy story, so where is the truth?

Chris Brown pleads not guilty, your honor during the 20 minute-long court hearing on Monday.

In case you don’t remember, Chris, 19, is charged with two felonies for the alleged assault on his girlfriend Rihanna on Feb. 8, 2009.

The preliminary hearing will be held on April 29 but Brown will not attend.

Both sides can review the files and have time to discuss the case, meaning a solution can be achieved can without a hearing or a trial,” Ri’s attorney explained, OK! reported.

A plea bargain is possible. If the sides reach the agreement, Chris will probably have to do “some jail time” anyway.

Innocent or guilty? The truth is still out there.
