Airbrushing to be banned!
Airbrushed models create a generation of young women with eating disorders and depressions. More than 40 leading experts on body image issues call for a ban on touching up photos in advertising.
In their report they warn about the tendency of the weight-self-conscious problems that little girls as young as five start suffering from.
In a letter to the Advertising Standards Authority, the academics from Britain, America and Australia say that the “clear majority of adolescent girls” have problems with depression, stress, guilt, shame, insecurity and body dissatisfaction.”

airbrushing should be made illegal and all airbrushing people should be lined up and have their wobbly bits blasted with high powered air stuff.

I dont think it should be illegal because girls should know or be taught that what they see in ads and in commercials is not real.Its kind like a movie- your not suppose to believe its real..it looks realistic but its not.. I believe they should have models of different sizes and color.. Im pretty sure if it becomes illegal companies are going suggest models to other options like surgery. That wont be good for teens to know.. (not like we dont have that problem now). But I think people who have that problem need to find to love their self. its a problem and yes media does influence people a lot, but in the end they should know models and celebs dont look that way naturally.. its all expensive makeup,lighting,and airbrushing..
