Video premiere of Michael Jackson’s new song ‘Hold My Hand’ ft. Akon

Video for Michael Jackson‘s new song ‘Hold My Hand’ featuring Akon has been unveiled. The song is the first single off Michael Jackson’s postmortem album Michael, available next week.

Akon and MJ recorded the track in 2007 and even before his death Michael had said that ‘Hold My Hand’ would definitely be included in his new project.

Akon filmed the video two weeks ago in California with Michael’s fans featured in the clip.

The video is a tribute to all that Michael stands for – life, in all its permutations… love, and its power. A video of memory, healing and joy,” ‘Hold My Hand’ director Mark Pellington said in his interview.

I like the video, it’s really touching. Can’t believe it’s been 18 months since Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009.
