That is it. Michael Jackson goes on goodbye tour
The King of Pop is back. Is he still a king?
Michael Jackson, 50, held a press conference in London yesterday announcing his 10 show tour at London’s O2 Arena starting on July 8 this year.
Though the tour is announced as a comeback one, it’s more likely to be the goodbye one. Jackson said these shows would be his “final curtain call.”
Thank you all. This is it,” he said. “I just wanted to say that these will be my final show performances in London. When I say this is it, it really means this is it.”
The London shows will be Jackson’s first live performance for more than two years.
King of Pop’s fans must be thrilled. They’ve been waiting for his tour for the last 12 years.
As to me, Michael looks, uhm, bad. And his outfit is like 1980s. I know sequins and embellishment rock this spring but why not try a new image for a change, Michael?
All I hope is that his comeback doesn’t disappoint his fans.
Check out the Jackson we liked in one of my most favorite videos of his:
