Susan Boyle is the next Bond girl

And I love the idea! The rumor has it, Britain’s Got Talent runner-up and the fastest selling female artist ever Susan Boyle has been approached by Bond bosses with the offer she just can’t miss.

Susan is the first in line to record the theme song for the next installment of the movie franchise, Bond 23.
Sources claim Boyle “is thrilled” about the opportunity.

[Bond bosses]’ll think seriously,” Monty Norman, composer of the classic 007 theme music, said. “[Susan Boyle]’s got the right kind of sweeping voice.”

Lee Pfeiffe, co-author of The Essential James Bond book, described Susan as “a throwback to those great days when the likes of Dame Shirley Bassey would be asked to sing”.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for Susan, you?

Next Bond flick starring Daniel Craig still doesn’t have the premiere date, though Daniel recently said the filming could start at the end of 2010.
