Spice Girls to open 2012 Summer Olympic Games
Will you still want to listen to Spice Girls in 2012? I don’t think my answer is positive but the 2012 Summer Olympic Games committee doesn’t care.
According to Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller, the main British export product of the late 1990s is wanted to open 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London.
They stand for so much in British music history and I can’t think of a better time for them to get back together for another performance,” he told The Mirror. “The demand for them as a band is as strong as ever. They will not want to be performing hits like ‘Wannabe’ in their 40s, but it’s amazing how often people talk about another reunion. And I think if they do it, it’s going to be in 2012.”
Are Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel B, Geri Halliwell and Mel C aware of the plan?
Anyway, earlier this month Mel B aka Scary Spice hinted they girls were planning another comeback. Did she mean the Olympics?
Will be excited to watch Spice Girls reunite in their 40s? YEAH or HELL NO?
