So do you think Katie Holmes can dance and sing?
I’m still amazed by Katie’s performance. And it’s not her dancing that surprised me most it’s more about singing. Did you guys know Katie could sing so well?
Yesterday’s 100th episode of So You Think You can Dance was a special occasion as Katie Holmes paid homage to the late star Judy Garland with a breathtaking performance of ‘Get Happy’ from Summer Stock.
Katie replicated Garland’s outfit of the black hat, masculine tailored jacket and sequined hotpants to sing and dance alongside male back up dancers.
I like to sing and dance, so it is really fun,” Katie said in one of her interviews prior to the show.
The long-anticipated performance was more than just a tribute. The performance was Holmes’ own way to tell people about the new non-profit organization she supports, The Dizzy Feet Foundation, that’s aimed at helping underprivileged children get access to music and dance as well as improving the level of dance education nationwide.
Katie’s performance is brilliant. I just love it and I must say I’m absolutely amazed and enchanted. Judy Garland’s tribute is a rare case when we see Katie smile, she’s happy it shows.
Her performance is so good that I don’t feel like bitching. That tells a lot.
In case you missed it yesterday or just want to see it all again, here’s Katie and ‘Get happy’ for SYTYCD:

Not more gossip regarding Katie Holmes being pregnant! Simply because she is wearing baggy outfits might simply signify that she really wants to feel relaxed.
