Shakira is a She-wolf
Shakira who has recently confessed to be a huge fan of Twilight saga and Robert Pattinson, presented her latest video for ‘She Wolf’ a first single from the newest studio album of the same name.
Shakira explained the concept of the video to MTV:
This woman starts a journey going into her own closet. She is in this surreal kind of world where other fun things happen. She’s just having fun. And there is also this other metaphor of the cage – the golden cage and the woman. I just wanted to express what it feels like for a she-wolf to be in captivity. To be in a golden cage. I think I’ve been in a golden cage most of my life. And now not anymore.
Must say the golden cage episodes are my favorite. Shakira shows her panther flexible body and how she can move it and do “all kinds of outrageous stuff” to make you hot.
Unlike the golden cage dance routine, robot-style belly dancing is horrible!
As to the song, Shakira said it took her only 10 minutes to write lyrics and music for it.
‘She Wolf’ came to me very mysteriously. The image of the she wolf just came to my head, and when I least expected it I was howling and panting.”
