Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Lady GaGa, U2, and Bon Jovi have joined forces to raise money for tsumani and earthquake victims in Japan by releasing a digital-only compilation album later this week.
The charity effort will see all proceeds going straight to the Red Cross Japan to help those who’re in desperate need of help, food, medicine, and support.
We are doing it only digitally because it is faster, and this will be a worldwide release,” Universal Music Group has said in the statement, according to PopEater.
The Japan compilation isn’t finished yet and is expected to feature more artists working with the label. Their names haven’t been announced yet.
