Oh no! Kim Kardashian is recording debut pop album

Will this girl ever stop? Kim Kardashian is a seasoned reality TV star, a successful entrepreneur and model, mediocre book writer and terrible actress, so why in the world is she going to add “singer” to her impressive resume?

According to reports, Kim Kardashian is recording her debut pop album with The Dream (Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’, Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies’).

Having her own record is a dream come true for Kim who’s been quite vocal about her desire to try her hand in music industry. Last year Kardashian, 30, said she was interested in starting her own music career and wanted it to be a mix of pop a la Lady GaGa, Britney Spears or J Lo and R’n’B.

I’d have to hear a song and feel it out and see if it’s something I’d sound good at. Filming the video would be fun, that would be the best bit,” Kim Kardashian gushed earlier this year. “I’ve decided this year I’m going to do things that are outside my comfort zone, so I think I might try a little bit here and there and just see what happens with it.”

I’d really like to think she’s kidding.

Meanwhile, The Dream claims Kim “got a really good voice.”

No official single/album release date has so far been set. So we can still hope Kim will change her mind and not repeat Heidi Montag’s mistakes (“My voice probably isn’t the greatest,” Kim once admitted).
