New Miley Can’t Be Tamed

Miley Cyrus takes on a new role as “the rarest creature on Earth” in her brand new video for ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ that premiered yesterday.

Dressed up as an exotic peacock Miley is placed in a huge cage and exhibited in front of the crowd.

She changes several outfits during the video and all of them look pretty fierce for a 17 year old. In her interview prior to the video premiere Miley said the video was indeed sexy but “it’s not the premise.” The video is all about “explaining the song and living the lyrics.”

The reason I loved doing this video is because I wanted it to be something different for a female artist,” Miss Cyrus noted. “It is a sexy video, and you can’t really take that away from it… [but it] isn’t about being sexy or about who can wear less clothes… I don’t want to be in a cage. I want to be free and do what I love.”

‘Can’t Be Tamed’ is the first single from Miley’s new (and last?) album of the same name. The album is out June 22, 2010.
