MTV MOVIE AWARDS 2010: the Show, the Winners

The 2010 MTV Movie Awards was the funniest & most goofily entertaining awards show of the year, airing live on MTV on June 6, 2010 beginning at 9PM and hosted by funnyman Aziz Ansari from the NBC comedy Parks & Recreation. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart actually kissed on stage and so did Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johansson!

The “Twilight:New Moon” sequel cleaned up during the ceremony, taking home five nominations including the top honor, Best Movie and Best Kiss award for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s smooching scene in the film.

“The Hangover” took two golden popcorn trophies. The comedy lead Zach Galifianakis to receive Best Comedic Performance kudo and Ken Jeong’s scene of naked trunk surprise was chosen as the Best WTF Moment.

Meanwhile, the movies “Up in the Air” and “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” achieved one prize each. The Jason Reitman-directed drama “Up in the Air” helped Anna Kendrick to win Best Breakout Star kudo, while the sixth installment of “Harry Potter” film franchise aids Tom Felton to be named Best Villain.

“Obsessed” and “Jennifer’s Body” didn’t turn out “awardless” either. “Obsessed” got its prize from Best Fight category for the girl-on-girl fighting scene featuring Beyonce Knowles and Ali Larter. And the horror thriller helped its actress Amanda Seyfried to receive Best Scared-As-Sh**t Performance Award.

The rest of the awards went to Rain, Sandra Bullock and Robert Pattinson. The Korean star who appears in “Ninja Assassin” was named the Biggest Badass Star, while the “New Moon” stud got the Global Superstar kudo. Sandra Bullock received the Generation Award.
