Miley Cyrus is working on her last record
Isn’t it too early to take a break, Miley?
Teen idol Miley Cyrus told British TV show GMTV that she was planning a break from her super successful music career to focus on things she likes and let people forget her squeaky clean Hannah Montana imagine she’s been trying to shed lately.
That’s what she said:
I want to do my last pop record, I’m working on a record right now. I kinda want this to be my last record for a little while and be able to take a break and just get all the types of music that I really love… you know my favorite styles. And be able have something edgier and not have to worry about people saying, ‘Oh, this isn’t what her fans want to listen to.’ Because in a few years, as I grow up, so will my fans and I won’t have to focus on that as much and I’ll be able to have more of the sound of music that I’m into.”
Hiatus’s such a shaky move for such a rapidly changing scene as showbiz.
Even if Miley won’t perform for a while (right now she’s on the UK leg of her world tour with record breaking ticket sales stats – 10 venues in 10 minutes) she still has her movie career with The Last Song coming out in April 2010.
