Lady GaGa’s ‘Born This Way’ gets Bollywood treatment

Lady GaGa goes beyond cultural borders with a new ‘Born This Way’ remix produced by the producer duo Salim and Sulaiman. The Bollywood remix features “sitar intro” and “dhol beats” and sounds like a great mixture of Indian tunes and GaGa’s upbeat rhythms.

Lady GaGa’s ‘Born This Way’ embraces the new urban music genre that combines traditional Indian sound and western pop and R&B influence, called Desi.

According to GaGa’s management, this Bollywood remix is their way to show respect and appreciation for Desi and GaGa’s Desi fans.

GaGa has truly fallen in love with India, so we’re helping her pursue this audience to authentically connect with both the huge diaspora and South Asia itself,” the production company behind the ‘Born This Way’ Bollywood remix said.

Last month Mother Monster released the country version of ‘Born This Way’, and it also sounded awesome.
