Katy Perry’s new music video ‘E.T.’ featuring Kanye West is finally here!

And it’s so good it’s worth every second of waiting. Katy has never done anything like ‘E.T.’ before with this vid having a very definite story line, a-m-a-z-i-n-g alien make-up and hair, and a very exciting and unexpected end. In short, I just love this video.

FYI, ‘E.T.’ has become Katy Perry’s fourth consecutive single off Teenage Dream to top Billboard Hot 100, making the album a chart record-breaker that ends Lady GaGa’s rein. Katy Perry, thus, becomes the first female artist after Mariah Carey to have four number ones in a row. Mariah Carey enjoyed the similar success in 1990-1991.

I am so thrilled that ‘E.T.’ has landed at number one,” Katy Perry told Billboard. “I want to thank all the fans who contributed to this amazing feat and radio, which has been an essential part of my continued existence. I truly appreciate all the support of my creative twists and turns.”

Perry also took to her Twitter to share the happy news with her followers:

This is record breakingly amazing. That’s four in a row! I am in tearssss!!!”
