Katy Perry introduces alter ego Kathy Beth Terry in ‘Last Friday Night’ teaser

Katy Perry’s new music video for ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)’ is due next Tuesday, June 14, so it’s high time we met Katy’s alter ego from the video – it’s Kathy Beth Terry, a geeky high school student and the star of the upcoming clip.

Kathy Beth Terry is interested in solar system and computer hacking, she’s a big fan of Leonardo DiCaprio, Jared Leto and Hanson. Also, she loves to party and meet new friends on Facebook and Twitter where she has her own accounts. Katy Perry’s Kathy Terry has over 37,000 likes on Facebook but still thinks that nobody likes her there and she’s not popular, so in her new campaign video Kathy is asking her fans to “tell your friends to LIKE me please.”

As to the soon-to-be-released video ‘Last Friday Night’, Ms Perry is sure the geek-themed vid will “break the internet.”

I told someone about my new music video I just filmed & they responded with ‘wow, that’s gonna break the internet.’ … Should I knock on wood?” Katy Perry wrote on Twitter about ‘Last Friday Night’.
